Trieste, Gorizia, and Udine to Host Unprecedented Uisp Men’s A2 Basketball Kickoff
A landmark weekend of amateur basketball is set to unfold October 25th and 26th as the Uisp (Unione Italiana Sport Per Tutti) Men’s A2 season launches with all teams in action together across three Friuli Venezia Giulia provinces: Udine, Gorizia, and Trieste. the event marks the largest basketball undertaking ever organized by Uisp in the region, featuring a total of 16 matches over two days.
This concentrated start aims to build excitement and camaraderie within the regional amateur basketball community. A field officials course, now in its third year and boasting record registration numbers, will precede the games on Saturday morning in Pradamano. The weekend’s games will be hosted at the PalaGesteco in Cividale del Friuli, the PalaCalvola in Trieste, and the Stella Matutina gym in Gorizia.
