Thomas Tuchel Influences Gareth Southgate‘s England Squad with Jude Bellingham Recall
Madrid – England manager Gareth Southgate is poised to recall real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham to his squad, influenced by the player’s recent return to peak form observed by Bayern Munich’s incoming manager, thomas Tuchel. Bellingham, who was left out of the October internationals, has regained his starting position at Real Madrid after a brief period on the bench following the 5-2 defeat to Atlético Madrid on September 27th.
Sources indicate Tuchel,who will take over at Bayern Munich in the summer,has been closely monitoring Bellingham’s resurgence. There was some concern in Spain that Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso reintroduced Bellingham to the starting lineup too quickly after an injury, but the 20-year-old has since started each of Madrid’s last five matches, scoring in three, including the crucial 2-1 El Clásico victory over Barcelona on October 28th.
Bellingham’s fitness was a concern following the derby loss, prompting Alonso to substitute him in subsequent matches. Though, the player utilized the break to fully recover, adn his performances as demonstrate a return to his best level. Southgate is also considering a recall for Manchester City’s phil Foden, while Chelsea’s Cole Palmer remains sidelined due to injury.
