TGS Launches Pelotas Norte Phase I Seismic Survey in Brazilian Equatorial Margin
HOUSTON – TGS, a global provider of energy data and intelligence, announced today the commencement of the Pelotas norte Phase I multi-client seismic survey offshore Brazil.The project expands TGS’s data acquisition efforts in the region, capitalizing on increased industry interest in the Equatorial Margin.
The survey builds upon TGS’s extensive library of brazilian seismic data and follows the completion of large multi-client surveys in the Equatorial Margin earlier in the third quarter of 2023. With the addition of Pelotas Norte phase I, TGS will have three Ramform Titan-class vessels operating offshore Brazil for the remainder of this year and into 2024.
