Buenos Aires, Argentina – Defensa Street in the historic San Telmo neighborhood⁢ has been recognized as one of the 31 coolest streets in the ⁢world, landing at ‌number⁣ 24 on a⁢ recent global list. The ranking, which placed Rio de Janeiro’s Senate Street in first place and Mexico City’s ‌Avenida ⁤Álvaro Obregón at number 15, highlights⁢ Defensa Street’s unique blend of history, commerce, and vibrant culture.

The street is known for its cobblestone pathways, ⁤antique shops, and the iconic Defense Passage, a commercial gallery housed⁤ in a building⁣ constructed in 1880 that reflects the architectural style of the time.
