Syracuse to Showcase High-Powered Offense Against Colgate in ACC Network Friday Night Matchup
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Orange will continue the ACC’s Friday night football series, hosting the Colgate Raiders on september 12 at 7 p.m. ET inside the JMA Wireless Dome, with national television coverage on ACC Network. This marks the third consecutive week an ACC team will compete in a Friday night game to begin the 2025 season.
The game presents an possibility for Syracuse to maintain its perfect record against FCS opponents – 22-0 since the division split in 1978 – and build upon a recent dramatic overtime victory. For colgate, the contest is an early-season test against a Power Five opponent and a chance to gauge progress under its current roster.

Syracuse is coming off a 27-20 overtime win at UConn, overcoming an 11-point deficit in the final six minutes.
