Title St. Cloud Bulldogs Win Big, Set Records in Season Finale

St. cloud Bulldogs ⁤Conclude Historic⁣ 8-2 Season with 55-6 ⁤Victory Over Lake Minneola

ST. ​CLOUD, FL ‌- Teh St. ‍Cloud Bulldogs closed ‍out ‌their⁢ regular season in dominant fashion Friday night, defeating the Lake Minneola Hawks 55-6 and achieving a record of 8-2 – the program’s best finish in recent history. The Bulldogs’ offense proved‌ unstoppable, scoring touchdowns through the air and on the ground in a decisive victory.

The win secures St. Cloud’s position heading into the FHSAA Class 7A Playoffs. Currently ranked fourth, the bulldogs are poised to face⁤ third-seeded Dr. Phillips (7-3) in the regional​ quarterfinal on Friday, Nov. 14. ‍However, Dr. Phillips’ recent 28-17 loss to ⁢West Orange could shift the rankings, potentially allowing St. Cloud⁢ to host the first-round game ‌- a scenario the team​ desires given their undefeated 6-0 record at home this season.

Jeremiah Lattier led⁤ the bulldogs’ offensive charge, ‍connecting ‍with Stacy Taylor for a⁤ 15-yard touchdown pass and later finding Bryce Williams for a 29-yard score in the first quarter.Cameron Dalton added a 27-yard rushing touchdown in the⁣ second, followed by a 1-yard run from Shawn Eplin. Lattier continued his success, throwing touchdown ​passes to Santiago Ochoa (28 yards and 7 yards) and Michael Cuyler (25 yards).Ochoa also contributed a 7-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Lake Minneola’s lone score came on a 101-yard interception return by Draiden Love-Webb. Jermidave Velez-Santos was prosperous on seven of eight extra point attempts for ​St.Cloud.

“No idea what will ⁤happen with ‍the rankings,” said Bulldogs coach‌ Josh ​Short.”But we would love to‌ have it at home,where we⁢ have been undefeated this year (6-0).”

In other area action, Osceola ‌fell to Lakewood ​(St. Petersburg) 28-18, ⁤finishing the season ‌at 6-4. Tohopekaliga ⁣(5-5) and Harmony (5-5) both secured .500 records with wins, while Gateway (5-5)‌ defeated⁤ Festivity (1-9) and Poinciana​ (3-7)​ lost to ⁢Avon Park. Liberty concluded its ‌season with a 42-20 loss to Lake⁤ Buena Vista, finishing at 0-10.
