Sportway Bolsters European Streaming Position with Acquisition of French Tech Firm sportall
PARIS – Sportway,a leading provider of live sports streaming solutions,has acquired Sportall,a French direct-to-consumer (D2C) technology company,to expand its footprint in the European sports market. The strategic acquisition will combine Sportway’s global streaming platform with Sportall’s innovative technology and established relationships within the French sports ecosystem. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
The move signals Sportway’s commitment to strengthening its position as a key player in the rapidly evolving sports streaming landscape, notably as rights holders increasingly seek tailored D2C solutions. By integrating Sportall’s capabilities, Sportway aims to offer an unparalleled suite of services to clients, enabling them to better connect with fans and unlock new revenue streams. This acquisition follows Sportway’s existing success in French ice hockey and builds upon the parent company SMG’s portfolio of sports businesses, which includes mygame, Live Arena Sports, and Acticom.
