Bangkok, December 6, 2025 – The Thai government today disbursed the sixth round of financial assistance to flood victims in Songkhla and Trang provinces, totaling 368,577,000 baht to 40,935 households. This brings the total aid distributed to date to 5,513,157,000 baht, reaching 612,573 households across eight southern provinces.
The aid, amounting to 9,000 baht per household, is being provided to those affected by the 2025 rainy season floods under four categories: those with flooded residences for under 7 days with property damage, those flooded for over 7 days, those whose residences were surrounded by water rendering them uninhabitable for over 7 days, and those in high-rise buildings affected in a way that disrupted normal life for over 7 days.
Today’s transfers specifically targeted 40,947 households in Songkhla Province (including 15,913 in Hat Yai District) and 6 households in Trang Province. Funds are being distributed via PromptPay accounts linked to national ID numbers, with transfers beginning at 1:00 PM today.
To date, aid has also been distributed to:
