Neuquén Boy, Santino, Loses Battle with Multiple Severe Conditions
Neuquén, Argentina – Santino Solís, a young boy from Neuquén who bravely fought a lifelong battle against infantile cerebral palsy, Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, and microcephaly, passed away this morning, leaving his community in mourning. He was a source of inspiration to all who knew him, living life to the fullest despite facing immense medical challenges.
Santino found strength in his love for movies, imagining himself a warrior facing adversity with a “sword” in hand, supported by his parents, Agustina Senas and Bruno Solís, who dedicated their lives to his care.
“My baby left at dawn. There is no more pain, he is resting his little body,” Agustina Senas shared with LM Neuquen following his passing.
Bruno Solís expressed his grief on social media, writing, “My life hurts, but I have peace in my heart. Nothing hurts anymore. If there is a god, today he let go of my hand. I will always love you, you were an excellent son, my love, my Santi.”
The family recently issued an emotional plea for prayers after Santino experienced complications following surgery. Despite the outpouring of support and medical intervention, he succumbed to his condition.
Described as a “very alive child” by his mother, Santino enjoyed outings to the movies, walks, and bath time, embracing every moment with determination. “he lives life as hard as he can,” Agustina said yesterday, while hoping for his recovery.
santino’s legacy of courage and love will endure.
