Dons Face wolf Pack in Acrisure Holiday Classic Finale
RENO, Nev. – The University of San Francisco men’s basketball team will conclude competition at the Acrisure Holiday Classic Friday against Nevada, seeking to build on recent momentum and continue its winning streak against the Wolf Pack. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. PT.
This matchup marks the 82nd all-time meeting between the two programs, with USF holding a 49-32 advantage in the series. The dons are looking for their fourth consecutive victory over Nevada, having previously defeated them on November 18, 2021 (73-70), December 2, 2020 (85-60), and December 23, 2017 (66-64). The outcome of Friday’s game will be a key indicator of both teams’ form heading into conference play.
USF enters the contest with a strong offensive showing led by guard Marcus Comer, who averages 3.7 assists and 1.6 steals per game – both team highs. Forward Jonathan Mogotu contributes significantly with 9.0 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game.
