Title: Ryō Kujirakawa’s New Manga, ‘Kyōsei Kankei,’ Launches in November
Ryō Kujirakawa Launches New Manga Series, Kyōsei kankei
Manga artist Ryō Kujirakawa has begun a new series, Kyōsei Kankei, in the November issue of Akita ShotenS Young Champion Retsu magazine and on its website. The announcement comes following the January conclusion of Kujirakawa’s previous work, Reptile Secrets (Himitsu no Reptiles), after an eight-year run.
Kyōsei Kankei centers on a down-on-his-luck teacher burdened by debt from gambling and drinking who unexpectedly finds himself living with a high school boy. Kujirakawa’s previous manga, reptile Secrets, was serialized on Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday and Manga ONE platforms from 2016 too 2024, ultimately comprising 14 compiled volumes. Digital english releases were handled by Comikey.
Kujirakawa, who also publishes under the pen name Gujira, previously created the erotic manga Kogals, Sluts, and Whatever (Gal toka Bitch toka Iroiro), which was acquired by FAKKU after the artist faced meaningful issues with online piracy in 2016. The artist had discovered his work had been illegally downloaded 25,000 times.
