Hundreds of Animals available for adoption at Rose Bowl Stadium This Weekend
PASADENA, Calif. – Over 700 adoptable animals will be at the Rose Bowl Stadium this Friday and Saturday, October 27th and 28th, for the Best Friends Super Adoption event. The large-scale adoption drive, hosted by national animal welfare organization Best friends Animal Society, aims to connect pets with loving homes and move the region closer to “no-kill” status.
The event offers a unique opportunity for Southern California residents to find their new furry family member, with more than 20 shelters and rescue groups participating, including Pasadena Humane, Angel City Pit Bulls, and Los Angeles Animal Services. Adoption fees for all pets will be kept under $150. Beyond adoptions, attendees can enjoy food trucks, giveaways, family-amiable activities, and a free public microchipping clinic sponsored by Fi Collar.
Author Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt will make a special appearance on Saturday at 11 a.m. to read from her latest book.Best Friends Animal Society emphasizes the importance of events like these in reducing the number of animals in shelters and increasing adoption rates.
