Pitching Rehabilitation Coordinator – Join Our High-Performance Team!
Do you have a passion for helping pitchers return to peak performance? We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative pitching Rehabilitation Coordinator to join our institution, working year-round out of our state-of-the-art facility at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona.
This critical role will be central to the triumphant rehabilitation and return-to-play process for our pitchers. You will work closely with our pitching, performance, and medical teams to design and implement comprehensive, individualized programs. Daily responsibilities include coordinating rehab schedules, monitoring pitcher workloads, and adjusting plans based on data-driven insights from our internal tools and sports science resources.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and oversee holistic return-to-play programs in collaboration with pitching, performance, and medical staff.
* Manage daily and weekly pitching rehab schedules, ensuring seamless communication and program adherence.
* Monitor pitcher progress and adjust workloads as needed,utilizing analytical data and performance metrics.
* Maintain regular communication with all relevant departments regarding player status and progress.
* Partner with mental performance, player care, and education teams to foster a supportive recovery surroundings.
* Collaborate with pitching coaches across our organization,including our Arizona and minor league affiliates,to facilitate a smooth transition back to competitive play.
* Stay current with the latest advancements in sports science, rehabilitation techniques, and pitching biomechanics through ongoing research.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience instructing or training athletes within a high-performance sports setting.
* A deep understanding of pitching mechanics, pitch design, and building effective pitching arsenals, including velocity-based throwing progression for both short-term and long-term recovery.
* Genuine empathy and a strong commitment to the player rehabilitation process. prior experience as a player or coach is highly valued.
* Remarkable communication and interpersonal skills,with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
* Willingness to relocate to Glendale, Arizona.
