Oregon State, BYU to Meet in Las Vegas Football Game in 2028
LAS VEGAS - oregon State and BYU have scheduled a future football game to be played in Las Vegas, officials announced Friday. The Beavers and Cougars will face off in 2028 as part of an expanding series of high-profile college football contests hosted in the city.
The matchup renews a series that dates back to 1999, with Oregon State currently holding a 6-5 advantage overall. The Beavers won the most recent meeting, defeating BYU 42-24 in Provo in 2012. This contest marks the latest addition to a growing list of games planned for Las Vegas, signaling the cityS increasing prominence as a destination for major sporting events. Arkansas and Texas Tech are also scheduled to play in Las Vegas in 2030 as part of the Vegas Kickoff Classic.
