Cádiz Celebrates Inclusive Music with ONCE Festival Finale
Cádiz, Spain - The first edition of the ONCE Music Festival, a groundbreaking inclusive event showcasing the talents of blind and severely visually impaired musicians from across Spain, culminates today with performances in Plaza san Francisco and a closing gala at the Palacio de Congresos. Over one hundred artists have participated in the three-day festival, which began on Thursday, October 16th.
The ONCE Music Festival provides a platform for musical groups, choirs, and soloists who are blind or severely visually impaired, fostering artistic expression and inclusivity.Today’s events include a midday vermouth performance in plaza San Francisco featuring the groups Ekyrian and Eternal Dilemma,followed by an 8:00 p.m. closing gala at the Congress Palace.
The gala will be presided over by Imelda Fernandez, Vice President of Social Services and Participation of ONCE, and Gloria Bazan, Delegate of Health, Youth, Children and Crafts of the Cádiz City Council. Featured performers include Laura Diepstraten, Ludmila Mercerón, Lucas Feliz, the City of the Caliphs Plectrum Orchestra, and the Coral Allegro, who will perform a joint finale.
