COLLEGE STATION, Texas The No. 5 Texas A&M Aggies continued their undefeated season with a decisive 34-17 victory⁤ over the Florida Gators saturday at Kyle Field. A dominant performance on both sides of the ball propelled ⁢the Aggies to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in Southeastern Conference play, solidifying their position as a contender in the SEC championship‌ race.

The win marks the​ Aggies’ ‍fifth consecutive game with over 400 ​yards of total offense, totaling 417 yards against ​Florida. This victory extends a remarkable streak at Kyle Field, drawing a‌ crowd of 105,086 – the 10th consecutive game with over‍ 100,000 fans in attendance.The Aggies’ defense proved stifling, holding the gators to just⁢ 1-of-10 on third down,⁣ continuing a trend of dominance in SEC play where opponents have converted ​only 2-of-33 third down‌ attempts.

The Aggies opened the game with ‌a quick two-play, 75-yard drive capped by a 67-yard touchdown⁤ pass from quarterback Max Johnson to receiver Mario Craver. Rookie ⁤running back Jamarion Morrow followed with a ⁢22-yard touchdown reception, putting A&M ahead 14-7.Le’Veon Moss⁤ extended the lead⁣ in the ‍second quarter with a 22-yard rushing touchdown.

After halftime, Randy bond connected ⁢on a 26-yard field goal, ​increasing the Aggies’ advantage to 24-14. Florida responded with a 45-yard field goal by Trey Smack.A&M answered back with a 2-yard touchdown‍ run by Owens II, and Bond‌ sealed the victory with a late 22-yard field goal.

Defensively, redshirt senior ‍defensive end Cashius Howell recorded ⁢a sack in‍ his third consecutive SEC game, bringing his ⁣season total to 8.0 -⁤ the most⁤ by an Aggie since Edgerrin Cooper’s 8.0 sacks in 2023. Craver also reached a career milestone, surpassing 1,000 receiving yards.

Texas A&M will now embark on a three-game road stretch, beginning with a matchup against Arkansas on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 2:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.
