Kleinfelder Announces Matthew Hawkeye as Alberta Area Manager
Kleinfelder is pleased to announce the promotion of Matthew Hawkeye, PE, PhD, to Alberta Area Manager. hawkeye brings over 21 years of experience to the role, including more than a decade with Kleinfelder. He previously served as Electrical Engineering Manager for the Alberta Area, providing technical leadership across electrical, instrumentation and controls, and broader engineering services.
His expertise has supported a diverse range of clients in key sectors including oil and gas, natural gas transmission and distribution, water and wastewater, mining, and industrial and commercial markets. Hawkeye holds both a Bachelor of Engineering degree and a phd in electrical engineering from the University of Alberta.
As area Manager, Hawkeye will oversee all Kleinfelder operations within Alberta, with a focus on strategic growth and maintaining the region’s high standards of service delivery.

To support Hawkeye’s leadership, Kleinfelder has also announced the promotions of randolph Bumanlag, CET, PL (ENG), to electrical Engineering Manager, and nicole Reinbolt, CET, to Instrumentation and Controls Manager. Both Bumanlag and Reinbolt have a proven record of outstanding technical skills, strong leadership qualities, and dedication to Kleinfelder’s clients and institution.
