LG Innotek Paju Branch Supports Holt Ilsan Nursing Home with Essential Donation
Paju, South Korea - September 25, 2023 – The Paju branch of the LG Innotek labor union recently demonstrated its ongoing commitment to community support by donating household appliances and daily necessities valued at 12.5 million won to Holt Ilsan Nursing Home, a facility affiliated with the Holt Children’s welfare Association.
Holt ilsan nursing Home provides 24-hour care and rehabilitation services to approximately 100 individuals with severe disabilities.Maintaining a hygienic living surroundings for residents requires frequent upkeep and replacement of essential appliances like washing machines, dryers, and refrigerators due to high usage.
The donation from the LG Innotek labor union directly addresses this need. delivered items include washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, fans, dehumidifiers, and towels. These will be installed throughout the nursing home’s living quarters and common areas to enhance the quality of life for residents.
A donation ceremony was held with representatives from both organizations in attendance, including officials from the LG Innotek Paju branch, executives and employees of Holt Ilsan Nursing Home, and Lee Yong-in.
Linda Baek, advisor to the Holt Children’s Welfare Association, expressed deep gratitude for the labor union’s continued support, noting the critically important improvement to the facility’s sanitary conditions and the increased comfort for residents.
Kim Young-ji, head of the LG Innotek union’s Paju branch, highlighted the nine-year relationship between the two organizations, stating, ”We hope that this donation will make the daily lives of people with disabilities a little more convenient.” She affirmed the union’s dedication to continued community engagement and meaningful contributions.
