LAS VEGAS – A Flood Watch is in effect for the las Vegas Valley, including Lake Mead, Las Vegas, Clark County, adn southern Nye County, beginning Monday night and continuing through late Tuesday night. Simultaneously, a Winter Storm Warning has been issued for the Sheep Range and Spring Mountains from 10 p.m. Monday to 4 a.m. Wednesday.FOX5 meteorologists predict rain will begin falling around 4 a.m. to 7 a.m. Tuesday, with the potential for flooding due to heavy rainfall.Temperatures throughout Tuesday are expected to remain in the 50s.
The National Weather Service reports that Kyle Canyon will experience a mix of rain and snow through Tuesday, transitioning to all snow by sunset.
