Carndonagh Mourns the Loss of Kathleen Ruddy
Carndonagh, County Donegal - Kathleen Ruddy, née Gallagher, of Ballyloskey, Carndonagh, has passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital. Her death marks a significant loss for the close-knit community of Inishowen, where she was a beloved figure.
Kathleen is remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a cherished sister within a large and loving family. Her passing will be deeply felt by all who knew her. She is predeceased by her husband, francis.
Kathleen is survived by her children: Sally,Aiden (Patricia),Colette (John),Angeline,Lorraine (Jonathan),and Gareth (Trish). She is also fondly remembered by her grandchildren – Conor, Shay, Marie, Zoe, Jessie, Rory, Ava, Clara, Kyle, emma, and Ben – and her great-grandson, Killian.
She is also survived by her sister, Brigid, and brothers Seamus and Denis, as well as her sister Majella, and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbours.
Removal from Kelly’s Funeral Home will take place today, Thursday, September 18th, at 5:00pm, to her late residence. A further removal will occur on Saturday morning, September 20th, at 10:30am, proceeding to the Sacred Heart Church, Carndonagh, for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The family has requested that family flowers be omitted, wiht donations in lieu gratefully accepted to the Ard Aoibhinn Unit, Carndonagh, care of any family member or Blaine McCarron - Kelly’s Funeral Directors.
