‘Robinson‘ Couple Juliette Bergkvist and Christoffer Jareståhl Confirm Relationship
STOCKHOLM,SWEDEN – Juliette Bergkvist and Christoffer Jareståhl,who first connected on the Swedish reality show Robinson last spring, have confirmed they are now a couple.Bergkvist announced the relationship on Instagram with a series of photos, stating, “I fell in love with a man I met on an island. You.”
The pair initially formed a close bond during filming of the survival competition, with Jareståhl frequently referring to Bergkvist as “the heart” throughout the program. While their connection was evident on screen, both maintained they were simply friends promptly following the show’s conclusion.
Jareståhl told Aftonbladet last summer that a “deep friendship” developed after filming wrapped. “Then I can absolutely think that she is extremely beautiful, and like a brutal girl on many levels. There are many who would have been happy to have her as a girlfriend, but right now we are just good friends,” he said at the time.
However, the relationship has since blossomed. Jareståhl told Expressen they have been exclusively dating “since the end of summer, beginning of fall.” He clarified that a romantic connection didn’t develop during the show, as Bergkvist had recently ended a previous relationship and he was also seeing someone else.
Bergkvist echoed this timeline, telling Expressen, “I had just become single before Robinson, so I had some healing to do before I was ready for anything else. Kudos to christoffer, who had the patience to wait and fight for us.” She described Jareståhl as her biggest supporter and called him “the warmest, funniest, weirdest and best person I know,” adding, “It feels so good! I fell in love with my best friend.”
