Borsa Italiana Rallies on Luxury Gains, Technoprobe Soars
Milan, Italy – September 18, 2025 – Borsa Italiana closed higher today, fueled by strong performances in the luxury sector and significant gains for Technoprobe following a positive analyst report. The FTSE MIB index saw broad-based gains, with several key companies posting considerable increases in share value.

Brunello cucinelli and Moncler also saw significant increases, rising 4.04% to 105.6 euros and 2.44% to 50.74 euros, respectively. STM benefitted from a rally at Wall Street driven by Intel, climbing 4.74% to 24.2 euros.
Technoprobe experienced a remarkable surge, gaining 14.3% to reach 8.5 euros after UBS analysts initiated coverage with a 10.4 euro price target and a “buy” recommendation – representing a potential 40% upside from its September 17th closing price of 7.44 euros. Gas Plus also posted strong gains,rising 12.1% to 5.9 euros following the release of its first-half financial results,with management forecasting continued growth in both gross operating margin and net profit for the full year.
Elsewhere, Banco BPM rose 1.35% to 12.78 euros, while Prysmian increased 2.5% to 81.28 euros after JP Morgan raised its target price from 86 to 87 euros,reaffirming an “Overweight” rating. Monte dei Paschi di Siena saw a modest gain of 0.48% to 8.091 euros, and the Piazzetta Cuccia Institute edged up 0.09% to 21.28 euros. OVS also saw a rise of 1.27% to 4.152 euros after releasing its first-half financial results.
