Huawei Launches Qiankun App, Advances Smart Cockpit Technology to L3 Level
Huawei has officially released the Qiankun app, a platform designed to foster a user community ecosystem for its smart driving and hongmeng Cockpit solutions. The app integrates community features, exploration tools, access to Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADS), a virtual showroom, vehicle controls, and a marketplace. Users can provide feedback on their in-car experience and submit suggestions for new features via a “wish list.” Ecological services like parking, charging, and car washing will also be accessible through the app.
The launch coincides with advancements in huawei’s smart cockpit technology, now leading the industry into the “smart cockpit L3” era. huawei Qiankun aims to deliver a full-scenario clever experience, bridging the gap between the vehicle and the Qiankun app.
Currently, 33 mass-produced models from 14 automotive companies utilize Huawei’s qiankun Zhijia or hongmeng Cockpit intelligent solutions, with monthly sales exceeding 100,000 units and a total user base surpassing 1 million.
During a press conference, huawei Qiankun unveiled two new automotive brands developed in collaboration with major manufacturers: “Yijing,” a partnership with Dongfeng Group, and “Qijing,” a collaboration with Guangzhou Automobile Group. Models from these brands are anticipated to launch in 2026. Over 50 representatives from Huawei Qiankun’s customer base and ecological partners attended the event.
