PREVIEW: Houston Swimming & Diving Prepares for Kansas Meet
LAWRENCE, Kan. – The University of Houston Swimming & Diving team is set to compete in Lawrence, Kansas, this weekend, facing off against a challenging schedule as they continue their season. The Cougars will be looking to build on their recent performances and establish momentum heading into the championship portion of the year.
Houston’s divers are poised to make a significant impact, with Michelle McLeod leading the charge in multiple events. McLeod is slated to compete in 1-meter, 3-meter, and platform diving. Alongside McLeod, Caroline Roelen will participate in both 1-meter and 3-meter events, while Maisy Woloszyn is also scheduled to dive in the 1-meter competition. On the swimming side, Evelyn Entrekin will race in the 100-yard breaststroke, and Virag Peter will compete in the 200-yard breaststroke.
This meet provides a crucial opportunity for the Cougars to refine their skills and strategies against competitive opposition.
