City Section Results – November 29, 2025
Friday’s City Section contests at Birmingham High saw Santee defeat Hawkins 35-6 in the Division III final. In Division II, San fernando edged out Cleveland wiht a 21-14 victory. Saturday’s schedule at Southwest College features Marquez (11-2) versus South Gate (10-3) in the division I championship at 2 p.m., followed by Crenshaw (10-1) against Carson (8-3) at 6 p.m. for the Open Division title.

Friday’s Southern Section action delivered decisive wins. Santa margarita dominated Corona Centennial 42-7 in Division 1. Oxnard Pacifica prevailed over Palos Verdes 20-10 in Division 3. Barstow narrowly defeated Apple Valley 10-7 in Division 7, while Beckman won a thrilling overtime contest against Brea Olinda 30-24 in Division 8. Grace secured a commanding 48-16 victory against Santa Paula in Division 12, and Woodbridge edged out Montebello 24-23 in Division 13. South El Monte claimed the Division 14 championship with a 14-6 win over Pioneer. Flintridge Prep took the Division 1 8-man title, defeating Cornerstone Christian 36-21.

Saturday’s Southern Section schedule includes Los Alamitos (11-2) at San Clemente (9-4) in Division 2. La Habra (10-3) will travel to San Jacinto (10-3) for the Division 4 championship. rio Hondo Prep (13-0) faces Redondo Union (9-4) in the Division 5 final. Ventura (11-2) will compete against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (7-6) in Division 6. Division 9 pits ramona (11-2) against Cerritos Valley Christian (10-3). Tahquitz (10-3) will play at Hillcrest (8-5) in Division 10, and Baldwin Park (8-5) is scheduled to visit Valley View (8-5) in Division 11. Lancaster Baptist (9-3) will play at Cate (5-7) at 1 p.m. in the 8-man Division 2 championship.
