“Gumball in Trick-or-Treat Land” RPG Confirmed for Game Boy Colour and Steam Launch in February 2026
A new family-kind RPG, Gumball in Trick-or-Treat Land, is slated for release on February 19, 2026, developed by Exquisite Laundry Pet and published by Mega Cat Studios. The game will launch both as a physical Game Boy Color cartridge and on Steam for PC.
The title draws inspiration from late-’90s handheld RPGs,with a whimsical tone reminiscent of Undertale,and features turn-based battles centered around resource management and “magickal” abilities. Players will follow Gumball on a Halloween-themed quest through Trick-or-Treat Land, encountering quirky NPCs and engaging in puzzle-solving, potion brewing, and party progression.
A demo offering approximately two hours of gameplay is currently available on Steam. The game is designed to be compatible with Game boy Color and Game Boy Advance hardware. The inclusion of a Steam release aims to broaden accessibility for players without access to original Game Boy consoles.
