Flamengo Can Clinch Brasileirão Title Wednesday Against Ceará
RIO DE JANEIRO – Flamengo is on the cusp of securing the 2023 Brasileirão title and will finalize its starting lineup Wednesday afternoon at the Ninho do Urubu training centre. The team faces Ceará at Maracanã with a chance to win the championship outright in the 37th round of the national competition.
Currently leading the Brasileirão with 75 points – 22 wins, nine draws, and five defeats – Flamengo holds a five-point advantage over second-place Palmeiras (70 points). A victory against Ceará would crown Flamengo champions. Though, a draw or loss would delay the title party until the final round of the championship.
