FKA twigs releases “EUSEXUA Afterglow,” a Companion Album to 2025’s Critically Acclaimed EUSEX
FKA twigs has surprise-released EUSEXUA Afterglow,a new album expanding on the themes of her earlier 2025 release,EUSEX. The album is described as a “continuation” featuring an entirely new tracklist and is available now on streaming platforms including Apple Music and Spotify.
EUSEX, wich topped Outcome‘s list of the 30 Best Albums of 2025 So Far, was conceived as “a love letter to the techno rave scene and how it can initiate change within.” EUSEXUA Afterglow delves into the emotional landscape following that experience, “transmuting them into a soundtrack for the hours after the rave and extending that high into the afters.” According to a press release, the beats on Afterglow are “fractured and derelict, and playful most importantly.”
The release of EUSEXUA Afterglow arrives during a busy period for the artist, who is also set to appear as the virgin Mary in the upcoming horror film The Carpenter’s Son, starring Nicolas Cage, and as Josephine Baker in a biopic directed by Maïmouna Doucouré.
