Title: Evert Santegoeds Slams Humberto Tan, Calls Him “Slimy

Evert Santegoeds Echoes Derksen‘s ‌Criticism of Humberto Tan: ‘Slimy Guy!’

Entertainment figure Evert ‌Santegoeds has publicly aligned with Johan Derksen’s ongoing criticism of RTL 4 personality Humberto ⁢Tan, ‍describing Tan as someone he personally dislikes. Santegoeds’ comments, ⁤made on the Strictly private podcast, add fuel to⁤ a‌ long-running public dispute and highlight a broader tension within the Dutch ⁣entertainment industry regarding authenticity and public image. This latest exchange underscores the⁣ frequently enough-contentious⁢ relationship ‍between on-screen personalities and the potential for‍ personal disagreements to spill ⁤into ⁤the public sphere.

Santegoeds voiced his⁤ agreement with Derksen’s negative⁣ assessment of Tan during a discussion on the podcast,⁤ stating, “I also ⁣think that about Humberto,” when asked ⁢why derksen consistently targets Tan. ⁣He further elaborated on his ‌dislike, characterizing Tan as ‍overly eager to align himself ⁣with charitable causes. ‍”All charities, ⁣everyone, it’s like a labradoodle that wants to ⁢be loved by everyone. To be⁣ honest, I don’t like seeing that‍ shit ⁣either,” Santegoeds said.

The criticism stems, in part, from ‍santegoeds’ perception of Tan’s performative activism. He cited Tan’s early adoption of⁤ a mustache-growing campaign for prostate cancer awareness – starting in ‌October ‍for a November event – as⁢ an‌ example of seeking attention.

Tan recently responded to Derksen’s ⁢repeated attacks, stating on the radio he doesn’t seek‌ reconciliation, preferring⁢ “lozenges” over‌ a meeting⁢ with ⁢Derksen, as reported by Mediacourant. Santegoeds dismissed this response, questioning the need⁤ to please⁤ everyone. “A lozenge? Well, no. You can’t get along with everyone, can you? That’s nice, isn’t it?”⁢ he remarked.

Podcast co-host Jordi Versteegden noted ‌that such disagreements “keep ⁣showbiz alive,” a sentiment Santegoeds affirmed. The exchange highlights ⁣a continuing dynamic within the Dutch media landscape, where public criticism and personality clashes often generate significant attention.
