Los Angeles-based artist Evelina Anusauskaitė-Young marked her 36th birthday on november 1st with a reflective social media post. Despite previously stating a lifelong preference for celebrating her birthday on any day but this one, Anusauskaitė-Young shared photos and a message expressing gratitude for the past year and optimism for the future.
“Today I’m celebrating my life. If the next year is at least half as fun and lovely, I’m really looking forward to it,” she wrote.
The post quickly garnered an outpouring of birthday wishes from fans and fellow creatives, including messages hoping for a year “full of adventure, happiness and inspiration,” and acknowledging her “blooming” creative path.
