The confirmation comes as the selection process faces delays due to several initial candidates declining the position.

Thohir initially identified ten potential coaches, but five ultimately expressed their unavailability. “Actually, previously there were 10 names but five of them were not willing, we also need a process,” he explained. While Thohir refrained from disclosing the identities or nationalities of the remaining candidates,he indicated they represent “three or four countries.”
