England Announce Revised Squad for Second Ashes Test with Bateman, Havard Out
England Head Coach shaun Wane has made significant changes to his squad for the second Ashes Test against Australia, announcing a 19-man group featuring several alterations from the side that lost at Wembley last weekend.Notable omissions include John Bateman, who misses out due to illness, and Ethan Havard, while Harry Smith, Kallum Watkins, and Morgan Smithies have been added to the team.
The squad changes reflect Wane’s desire to “make some changes to the side that lost last week” and bring “really talented players into the side” as england aim to level the Ashes Series. the second Test will be played at a sold-out Hill Dickinson Stadium at Everton on Saturday.

Wane stated, “I want us to show the very best of us, play at the level I know we can and ultimately level this Ashes Series.” He also expressed confidence in the support of the English fans, adding, “I have there’s no doubt whatsoever the English supporters will get behind the team and be that 18th man for us on Saturday afternoon.”
