World’s Largest Endless Surf ⁣Lagoon Coming to São Paulo, Promising 40-Second Rides

ITU, BRAZIL – A new Endless​ Surf wave pool, set to be the largest of ​its kind globally, is planned for ‌Itu, near São Paulo city, Brazil. The project, named Terras Beach, will ​be developed by the terras de São José Group and is slated to begin⁣ construction⁢ in late ⁢2027,‍ with local membership‌ sales launching in April 2026.

The lagoon will utilize the ES66 wave generation system, offering rides up⁤ to 40 seconds in length and customizable wave⁣ settings. Endless Surf⁢ highlights the system’s ⁣modular design, allowing for tailored scale ‌and capacity ⁢while maintaining operational efficiency. Terras ‌Beach will be the second Endless ‍Surf installation in Brazil,following Brasil Surfe Clube in Rio de Janeiro,and the first within the state of São Paulo.

The surf lagoon will anchor‌ a new members-only destination within the Terras ‌de São José Group’s‌ network of premium gated communities,integrating surf,sport,and resort-style living. The Terras de São José Group, a pioneer in Brazilian real estate with⁣ over six decades of experience, is known for creating ⁣Brazil’s first gated residential community in ⁢Itu in the 1970s and also owns the ​Novotel Itu Terras de São ⁤José Golf &⁤ Resort.

endless Surf anticipates the project will expand its global footprint and reinforce the role of⁣ surf pools as central features of community and leisure developments.They believe the combination of wave length and customization potential will “set a⁢ new standard for surf parks…across the entire world.”
