White began his set wiht “That’s How I’m Feeling” from his 2024 album “No Name.” Eminem then emerged to rap over⁢ The White Stripes’ “Hello Operator” and deliver a rock-infused version of his 2002 hit,⁢ “‘Till I collapse.” White concluded the ⁢medley⁤ with his signature track, “Seven Nation⁤ Army,” accompanied by the Lions cheerleaders. The performance occurred shortly after The ‌White Stripes were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall ‌of‌ Fame.

The collaboration is especially noteworthy as Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, and his manager Paul Rosenberg were recently appointed as executive producers of the Lions’ ‌annual halftime show through⁣ 2027. They will ⁢oversee all aspects of production, including artist selection, with White being the ‍first performer booked under the new‌ arrangement. ⁢

“We’re thrilled to be working ‌with marshall and‍ Paul, who are two of the most accomplished and respected names in the ⁢music industry, not to mention longtime Lions fans,” stated Detroit Lions president⁤ & CEO Rod⁤ Wood. “Their reputation in the business will attract top-tier⁤ talent and help us solidify this annual performance as one of the most anticipated cultural moments on the NFL calendar.”

The Detroit Lions have also partnered with Jesse Collins Entertainment (JCE) to produce the performance. Prior to the halftime show, gospel singer Cece‍ Winans⁤ performed the national⁤ anthem.
