Important Update: DV-2026 Diversity Visa Program – Great Britain & Dependent Areas
The U.S. Department of State is providing an update regarding the DV-2026 Diversity Visa program for entrants from Great Britain (united Kingdom) and its dependent areas. Due to a reporting issue, some selection status results may have been inaccurate.
If you entered the DV-2026 program and listed Great Britain (United Kingdom) or one of its dependent areas as your country of origin, you must re-check your status.
Please visit the Entrant Status Check using your unique confirmation number from your original DV-2026 online entry. This will confirm your current selection status.
Important reminders for Selectees:
* Eligibility for a Diversity Immigrant Visa extends through September 30th. However, visas may become unavailable sooner if all allotted visas are issued.
* To be considered for an interview, you must submit a complete DS-260 application.
* If scheduled for an interview, be prepared to provide all required documentation, including proof of a medical exam.
Dependent Areas Included: Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, British Indian Ocean Territory, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, Montserrat, Pitcairn, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, St. Helena, and Turks and Caicos Islands.
Please Note: northern Ireland is considered a separate country of chargeability for DV purposes and is not affected by this notice.
