Dominika Cibulková Shares Joyful St. Nicholas Morning with Children Amid Reported Marital Challenges
Former professional tennis player Dominika Cibulková shared a glimpse of her Christmas morning celebrations with fans on Instagram, showcasing gifts received from “Mikulajdo” - the Slovak equivalent of st.Nicholas. Photos revealed smiling children, Jakubko and ninka, excitedly examining cleaned shoes, a bag, and a small cake. Cibulková captioned the post, “It seems to me that somehow they obeyed Mikulajd too much,” referencing the children’s good behavior.
The festive display comes weeks after reports surfaced suggesting Cibulková and her husband, Michal Navara, are navigating a marital crisis. Cibulková recently told Sport24 that the couple is currently spending less time together due to individual activities, acknowledging that all long-term marriages experience challenging periods. It remains unclear whether Navara was present for the St. Nicholas morning party, as he was not visible in the photos shared by Cibulková.
Cibulková retired from professional tennis in 2019 and frequently shares updates about her family life on social media. St. Nicholas Day, celebrated on December 6th, is a conventional holiday in Slovakia where children receive small gifts if they have been well-behaved.
