Veteran Doctor Celebrates 15 Years Championing Vietnamese Customary medicine
HANOI, VIETNAM - November 26, 2025 – Dr. Nguyen Thi Nhuan, a leading figure in Vietnamese traditional medicine, recently marked the 15th anniversary of the thuoc Dan toc Traditional Medicine Clinic, a milestone celebrated as a testament to her lifelong dedication to preserving the nation’s medicinal heritage. Dr. Nhuan, now over 60 years old, continues to actively practice, examining patients and consulting daily, driven by a passion she describes as both a professional responsibility and a vital part of her life.
Dr. Nhuan is considered the second generation and currently the principal leader of the Thuoc Dan Toc Clinic. Throughout her career, she has embodied the core tenets of a modern traditional medicine practitioner: deep knowledge, extensive experience, and strong medical ethics. She was recently honored by the clinic’s Board of Directors for her meaningful contributions to its development over the past decade and a half.
“The more I work,the more I love my profession,” Dr. Nhuan has stated, expressing her commitment to continue dedicating herself to medicinal plants and patient care as long as her health permits.
