Columbia⁢ Students Host Concert too Benefit Textbook Assistance Program

CHICAGO – Columbia College Chicago students are organizing a benefit concert on November 16th‌ at HAUS (623 S. Wabash Ave.) to raise funds ⁣for the Columbia Textbook Assistance scholarship (CTAS) program, providing crucial textbook support ⁣for fellow students. The event ⁤will feature performances by Mike DFG and ‍Nate Vintage.

CTAS addresses⁢ a notable financial burden ‌for ‍manny Columbia students, ⁣offering assistance with the rising⁤ cost of course materials. According‌ to program organizers, the concert aims to⁢ bolster the program’s resources and ensure continued access to textbooks for students in need. students Michael⁣ Markham and William Brown are spearheading the fundraising effort, building on the success of previous CTAS initiatives. “next year, we plan to ‍bring the haunted house back – bigger and better,” Markham stated, referencing a previously popular fundraising ‌event.

Students seeking to‌ donate or request materials can contact CTAS ⁣at ‍ctas@colum.edu or visit the CTAS bookshelf on the second floor of the Student Center. monetary donations can also‍ be made online ‍at https://giving.colum.edu/s/1871/cf22/crowdfunding.aspx?sid=1871&gid=2&pgid=1782.
