Cat’s eye’s ‘Gorgeous chaos’ Surpasses 1 Billion Spotify Streams, Solidifying Global Breakthrough
LOS ANGELES, CA – cat’s Eye’s debut album, Beautiful Chaos, has exceeded 1 billion cumulative streams on Spotify, marking a meaningful milestone for the rapidly rising K-pop group. The achievement underscores the group’s burgeoning global popularity and positions them as a leading force in the streaming era.
Launched in July, Beautiful Chaos showcases the six-member group’s diverse musicality, blending hyper pop, dance pop, contemporary R&B, and electronic pop across tracks like “gnarly,” ”Gabriela,” “Gameboy,” “Mean Girls,” and “MIA.” The album reflects the bond and growth of the members, hailing from various nationalities and backgrounds, as they navigate the challenges of artistic expression.This streaming success arrives as Cat’s Eye continues its first solo North American tour and anticipates the 66th Grammy Awards, where they are nominated for Best New artist and Best Pop Duo/Group performance.
Cat’s Eye has experienced a meteoric rise since debuting in June of the previous year thru Hive America’s T&D (Training & Advancement) system, guided by chairman Bang Si-hyuk’s “K-pop methodology.” The group’s Spotify Monthly Listeners reached 33,401,675 as of November 9, surpassing the monthly listener counts of all other girl groups during the same period.
The album’s success is further evidenced by its chart performance: Beautiful chaos debuted at number 4 on the US Billboard 200 (as of July 12),and the single “Gabriela” reached a peak of 33rd on the Hot 100 (as of November 8).
