The availability of these loans is particularly vital as many face unexpected expenses beyond their existing insurance coverage.
Homeowners can borrow up to $500,000 to repair or replace their primary residence, while homeowners and renters are eligible for up to $100,000 to cover personal property losses. Businesses and nonprofit organizations can access loans of up to $2 million for physical damage and economic injury.
