Bloomberg Trading Analytics sales Specialist - Driving Enterprise Electronic Trading Solutions
Bloomberg is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales professional to join its expanding EMEA Trading Analytics Sales team. This role focuses on the sales and implementation of Bloomberg Electronic Trading Solutions (ETS), a extensive suite of multi-asset trading tools and data analytics designed for both buy-side and sell-side financial institutions.
Bloomberg ETS consolidates all of BloombergS cross-asset electronic trading platforms into a single, integrated team. this unified approach delivers trading solutions and analytics, enabling clients to seamlessly manage the entire trade lifecycle – from staging and monitoring to execution, clearing, allocation, and post-trade Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) – all within the Bloomberg platform. These solutions integrate with both Bloomberg and non-Bloomberg Order management Systems (OMS), offering revenue-generating opportunities and enhancing workflow efficiency.
The Opportunity:
As a Trading Analytics Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by positioning a diverse portfolio of enterprise trading solutions, including Liquidity Analytics, Trading connectivity, and pre and post-trade TCA products. You will focus on both expanding relationships with existing Bloomberg clients and acquiring new prospects across the financial services landscape.
This role requires building and maintaining senior-level relationships with key stakeholders in trading, quantitative analysis, data sourcing, and executive leadership. A core function will be understanding client trading infrastructure and workflows to effectively navigate the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting to prosperous product adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
* leverage strong product knowledge, technical understanding, and market expertise to generate revenue for Bloomberg’s Enterprise Businesses and broader solution offerings.
* Manage complex, enterprise-level sales engagements with multiple clients and long-term requirements.
* Clearly articulate the features and benefits of Bloomberg’s enterprise products, acting as a trusted advisor to customers.
* Develop a deep understanding of client operations to strategically position products throughout the engagement process and across various stakeholder groups.
* Contribute innovative ideas to anticipate and address evolving client needs.
* collaborate internally to implement and deliver impactful solutions.
* Actively participate in departmental and firm-wide initiatives and projects.
* proactively seek opportunities to contribute beyond core sales responsibilities, including mentoring, training, campaign participation, and product enhancement suggestions.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience driving complex enterprise sales strategies within financial services technology, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and data platform providers serving the financial services industry.
* Solid understanding of financial markets, including Equity, Listed products, FX, and Fixed Income.
* Familiarity with trading processes and OMS/EMS connectivity.
* Exceptional presentation, training, and communication skills in English.
* Willingness and ability to travel regularly.
An interest in coding/programming is considered a plus.
