Bengals Dominate Ravens 32-14 in Burrow‘s Return
Cincinnati, OH - The Cincinnati Bengals emphatically ended their three-game losing streak and reignited their playoff hopes with a commanding 32-14 victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night. Quarterback Joe Burrow, returning from injury, led the Bengals to a decisive win in the Thanksgiving nightcap.
The victory, fueled by a stifling defensive performance and a steady offensive attack, improves Cincinnati’s record to 4-8. Burrow completed 24 of 46 passes for 261 yards and two touchdowns. His primary target, ja’Marr Chase, hauled in seven receptions for 110 yards. Tanner Hudson and Andrei Iosivas each secured a touchdown reception for Cincinnati. Hudson’s came on a 14-yard connection, while Iosivas’ score with 15 seconds remaining in the third quarter extended the Bengals’ lead to 26-14.
Despite early red-zone struggles – failing to convert after a Lamar Jackson fumble recovery on the 2-yard line - Cincinnati consistently capitalized through the leg of Evan McPherson, who successfully converted all six of his field goal attempts from 31, 42, 24, 33, 52, and 41 yards.
Cincinnati’s defense proved pivotal, forcing five turnovers – two fumbles lost by jackson, a fumble by Zay flowers, an interception thrown by Jackson, and a turnover on downs. Isaiah Likely also lost a fumble just before reaching the end zone, resulting in a touchback.Jackson finished the game 17-of-32 for 246 yards and 27 rushing yards, marking the first time in his career he’s gone three consecutive games without a touchdown pass.
The Ravens will look to rebound next Sunday when they host the Pittsburgh steelers in a crucial divisional matchup.The Bengals will travel to Buffalo to face the Bills in Week 14.
