major Game Companies shift Focus to AGF as G-Star Attendance Declines
Ilsan, South Korea – November 24, 2025 – A notable trend is emerging in the Korean game industry: major players, including the ‘3N’ – NCSoft, Nexon, and Netmarble – are increasingly prioritizing participation in the AGF (Agri-Food Game) event, signaling a shift in strategy as attendance at the G-Star convention wanes. This year’s AGF, co-hosted by Aniplus, Daewon Media, Sony Music Solutions, and D&C Media, will be held at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 from November 5th to 7th.
The move comes as large game companies reassess their event strategies, with several announcing their absence from G-Star this year. Simultaneously, the proportion of subculture games featured at AGF is rising, attracting both developers and a dedicated fanbase.Limit Zero Breakers is participating in AGF, as is Clover Games with ‘Heaven Hellz,’ and Studiobiside, showcasing their recently launched title ‘Star Savior.’
NCSoft is providing materials for coverage, with a strict prohibition on resale or database use. The AGF is rapidly becoming a key event for the Korean gaming community, notably for subculture enthusiasts, offering a platform for developers to connect with players and showcase new titles.
