Alabama Quarterback Ty Simpson Announces NIL Deal with Regions Bank Ahead of Iron Bowl
AUBURN, AL – November 24, 2023 – Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Ty Simpson revealed a new Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) partnership with Regions Bank just days before Saturday’s highly anticipated Iron Bowl matchup against Auburn. Simpson announced the deal on Instagram, stating, “Nothing beats the power of community.”
The declaration comes as Simpson has emerged as a key player for the Crimson Tide this season. His performance has generated Heisman Trophy buzz, though his primary focus remains a national championship.
simpson has completed 66.9 percent of his pass attempts for 2,934 yards, 22 touchdowns, and four interceptions. He has also rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns.
Alabama (9-1) will need a win on the road against Auburn to secure a spot in the SEC Championship game and bolster their College Football Playoff chances. The Crimson Tide began the season with a loss to Florida State but followed it with eight consecutive victories, including wins over ranked opponents such as No. 5 Georgia, No. 16 Vanderbilt, No. 14 Missouri, and no. 11 Tennessee.
