Title: 60 Freeway Crash Kills Man, Woman in Inland Empire

Two Die in Southern California Freeway‍ Crash

LOS ANGELES – A collision on a Southern California freeway Monday morning left both the driver and a passenger dead, authorities‍ reported. The ⁤crash occurred in the eastbound lanes and involved a black Honda Civic⁢ that later left the roadway.

The incident underscores the dangers of freeway travel ⁣and has prompted a full inquiry into the cause of the crash.Fatalities on southern California freeways, while not uncommon, frequently enough lead to significant traffic disruptions and raise concerns about road safety. The California Highway Patrol​ is actively working to determine the factors‍ that contributed to this tragedy.

According to ‍Officer Javier Navarro,a spokesperson for the CHP,the Honda Civic was carrying a woman in her forties,who was driving,and a man,also in his forties,as a​ passenger. The vehicle crashed, ejecting the male passenger into the⁢ eastbound lanes, where he was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has⁣ not yet been released.

Following the initial impact, the female driver continued off the freeway and into the parking lot of⁣ a business on Wabash drive. She collided wiht a box ⁤truck and⁣ was also pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the ‌crash remains under investigation. Authorities have not yet determined what led the woman to lose control of the vehicle.
