Utah absorbs Green, a 25-year-old Australian native and former 18th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft out of Arizona, who previously played for the Dallas Mavericks and Charlotte Hornets. Green was initially sent to Minnesota in July as part of a larger deal headlined by LaMelo Ball and Naz Reid, according to ABC4. Last season with Charlotte, Green averaged 4.3 points and 1.8 rebounds across 58 games while shooting 42 percent from three-point range.

The Jazz are parting ways with Cody Williams, whom they selected 10th overall in the 2024 NBA Draft out of Colorado. Through two seasons, Williams struggled to secure a consistent perimeter presence, shooting 21.4 percent from beyond the arc last year despite averaging 8.8 points across 67 games, which included 41 starts as noted by ABC4. Alongside Williams, Utah traded Jon Konchar, whom they had acquired in February from the Memphis Grizzlies in a trade involving Jaren Jackson Jr., according to Deseret News.
