The victory marks the 20th of the season for the Tigres, establishing them as the first team to reach the milestone in the current LVBP campaign.
Despite holding the league’s best record, the LVBP remains tightly contested with only a 3.5 game difference separating the first-place Tigres from the team in last place. This close competition underscores the high stakes as teams battle for positioning ahead of the postseason.
