Tiani in Algiers: Niger-Algeria Relations & Diplomatic Normalization

Accompanying President Tiani is a high-level delegation including General Salifou Mody, Minister of State and Minister of National Defense; Colonel-Major Garba Hakimi, Minister of Public Health and Hygiene; and Colonel-Major Salissou Mahaman Salissou, Minister of Equipment and Infrastructure. The composition of the delegation indicates a focus on defense, health and infrastructure cooperation, according to sources within the Nigerien government.
