Roseman University Opens New Integrative Oral Health Clinic in Henderson
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) – Roseman university of Health Sciences has launched the Thorne Clinic for Integrative Oral Health and Primary Care at its Henderson campus, marking a significant expansion of its dental education and patient care capabilities.
The 12,000-square-foot clinic, located at 4 sunset Way, Building A, boasts 35 dental chairs and is strategically positioned next to Roseman’s existing dental and orthodontic clinics, bringing the university’s total chair count to 62. This expansion is projected to accommodate up to 50,000 patient visits annually.
Funded entirely by PDS Health, the clinic embodies a commitment to integrated healthcare. PDS Health Founder and CEO Stephen E. thorne IV emphasized the importance of this approach, stating, “roseman University is creating a space where students experience how oral health and medicine work together in clinical care.Learning in an integrated setting prepares them to think differently, work more collaboratively, and deliver better outcomes for the patients they will serve.”
Dr. Frank Licari, dean of Roseman University College of Dental Medicine, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the clinic’s role in increasing access to affordable, high-quality dental care and fostering a thorough learning environment. “Today’s dedication is a proud moment for Roseman University and for Southern Nevada,” he said.
Beginning in January 2026, dental students from Roseman’s South Jordan, Utah campus will relocate to Henderson to gain hands-on experience providing faculty-supervised patient care at the Thorne Clinic.
The clinic will also integrate Epic, a leading electronic health records system, thanks to the partnership with PDS Health, aiming to improve patient outcomes through a focus on oral-systemic health connections. Moreover, a grant from Dental Imaging Technologies Corporation (DEXIS) will equip the clinic with cutting-edge digital imaging and diagnostic systems, including AI-enabled technologies. “The students who train at the Thorne Clinic won’t just be learning dentistry-they’ll be mastering the tools and technologies that define the future of oral healthcare,” noted Robert Befidi, president of DEXIS.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony and facility tours showcased Roseman University’s dedication to advancing healthcare education and serving the community.
