Apart from the corporate lobbyists who have made it their livelihood, there is hardly anyone left to defend self-service electric scooters in Paris. After two years of controversy, despite all the regulatory efforts that have been made following a period of total anarchy (parking spaces, traffic on the sidewalks, speed restrictions, etc.), it must be recognized that the users of these services do not still do not meet minimum safety standards and that the accumulation of these machines on every street corner gives the impression of a problematic mess in the most beautiful city in the world.
